Steward's Seminar 2005
Teamsters Local 26 Fifth Annual
Stewards Seminar was held on Saturday, November 12th, 2005. Approximately
50 Stewards representing many crafts attended the five hour seminar. As
in years past, all attendees were very pleased with the program that
representatives from the IBT conducted. This year Sarah Young, IBT
Department of Training and Development and Walter Edwards, IBT Department of
Strategic Research & Campaigns covered topics such as Contract Costing,
Strikes & Picketing and Building Membership Participation. The Local
offers this program each November for all Stewards or members who are
interested in becoming a Union Steward in their workplace. We encourage
any member or Steward who has not attended to take advantage of this valuable
