RANTOUL PRODUCTS/COLLINS AND AIKMAN

As a result of bankruptcy, Rantoul Products' last day of business was August 31, 2007.  Several employees have been hired through the AFL-CIO as peer counselors to assist their fellow employees to facilitate the process of seeking new employment, filing for the Trade Act and Alternate Trade Act benefits.  They will also help direct them to assistance in other areas as needed.   The counselors are working at various Employment Security facilities.
